IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE the release of The Great Diversion’s first studio album, “Rocks and Rapids”, 5 years to be exact. Focusing on playing shows, perfecting their sound, and getting more and more experience in the studio over the past few years, The Great Diversion is finally ready to let the world hear their new album “This Is It… This Is The End.” The 9-track album combines elements of post-hardcore, mixed in with a bit of pop to create a hard-hitting rock feel reminiscent of early 2000’s emo music. The power trio have always distinguished themselves by their melodic approach to an otherwise aggressive genre, all without ditching the heaviness by including unexpected breakdowns, truly showcasing their songwriting abilities.
